Gone Flying Two!

After my biennial flight review and renewing my license, I decided it would be less expensive to purchase a plane...so, I bought a 1979 Cessna 152 II. It is exciting learning about the responsibilities of owning an airplane. Here is a link to the Cessna 150-152 Club; and for great plane painting, Flying Kolors Aero Paints. Most importantly, here is Gotta Fly Aviation, where I recently had my annual inspection completed by Larry Lubak.

Below are a few pics of the ole plane before and after a recent flight from Redlands Airport to San Diego's Gillespie Field. As stated on the Gone Flying, Gone Soaring, and Gone Aerobatic links, I earned my license in 1985...El Cajon Flying Club was the FBO.

Instrument Panel In Route. Notice the Airspeed Indicator at 100 knots, Heading of 015 degrees, at just over 3500 feet. Fuel and Oil Temp and Oil Pressure guages are looking good.

After Departing Gillespie, Passing La Jolla Cove, flying north toward Palomar Airport.

Here is a pic of a fire flying over Fallbrook. I don't know what happened, but hope all is well.
