Anyone who has completed formal teacher education or instructor training courses in which they have mastered all of the specific skills listed for EVOC 518 may qualify for the Skills Documentation Option in which they briefly describe and document how they have mastered each of the skills listed. This description/documentation can be put into a portfolio (as described in the EVOC 518 E-TEXT) and mailed to the course instructor.

Skills Documentation Option
To apply for the Skills Documentation option, first subscribe to theEVOC 518 E-TEXT
Follow the directions in the E-TEXT for getting started. It is still necessary to actually enroll in the EVOC 518 course in order to get credit for doing the Skills Documentation.
NOTE: Anyone who has mastered all of the Level 1 skills listed for EVOC 501, 518 and 519 may request to submit one portfolio for all three of those courses and should enroll in all three of them during the same quarter.
