Career & Technical Teacher EducationFor purposes of admission or enrollment, CSUSB does not officially differentiate between Distance Learning Option EVOC courses and traditional on-campus EVOC courses, so distance learners needing to enroll in any EVOC course must enroll in one of the on-campus sections of whatever EVOC courses they need, even though they will not be attending any classes on-campus. Follow the "Class Schedule" link at the bottom of this page to see when the on-campus EVOC courses are offered.
Enrolling in Distance Learning Courses

Please follow the links to any EVOC courses you need to enroll in (starting with EVOC 501) and look for the information about the E-TEXT (and the books) required for that course. Then contact the course instructor for information about how to subscribe to the E-TEXT for that course. Follow the directions within the E-TEXT that relate to the "Distance Learning Option".
You do NOT need to be enrolled in the course to subscribe to the E-TEXT and start working on course assignments. You DO need permission from the EVOC course instructor for an early start. Follow the "EVOC Faculty" link at the bottom of this page for information about how to contact EVOC course instructors.
Grades earned cannot be posted before the end of the quarter in which a person is "officially enrolled" in any given EVOC course. Follow the "Admission" link at the bottom of this page for specific directions about admission and registration.
Allowing students to start early is not official policy, but if it will help students, each EVOC instructor has agreed to start working with distance learners on an individual basis before they are officially enrolled.
