1. How much experience have you had with online courses? -
This was my first course taken online.
2. How did EVOC 501 compare to other courses you have had? -
It was completely different. I truly enjoyed every part of it!
3. How would you describe the directions for course assignments? -
Directions were always clear and precise.
4. How would you describe the examples of course assignments? -
All of the examples were great and easy to follow.
5. How would you describe the organization of the E-TEXT? -
The organization was awesome and greatly appreciated for a new online scholar.
6. How would you describe feedback provided by the instructor? -
Feedback was always short and simply to the point as well as greatly appreciated.
7. What did you like best about the online EVOC 501 course? -
For me it was a godsend! Working and having a new baby, it gave me the flexibility to complete my assignments successfully and on time.
8. Which of the assignment(s) did you find to be of most value? -
Actually all of them. Never having taught in a classroom setting, they were all such good insight into the tools needed to succeed. But I must say the lesson plan assignments were the most challenging and rewarding because they made you think to succeed.
9. Which of the assignment(s) did you find to be of least value? -
They were all rewarding, but probably the early assignment of cyberspace field trip was of least value to me.
10. What is your overall impression of the value of EVOC 501? -
EVOC 501 to me was an incredible experience. It confirmed any doubts that teaching is what I want to do! I learned so much and hope to continue to do so with the future classes I plan to take. This class is of great value to anyone who plans to teach with
