1. How much experience have you had with online courses? - EVOC 501 is first online course I ve taken.

2. How did EVOC 501 compare to other courses you have had? - EVOC 501 was better than the education courses I took through UCI Extension.

3. How would you describe the directions for course assignments? - The directions for course assignments were explicit and easy to follow.

4. How would you describe the examples of course assignments? - The examples were entertaining and also provided a clear pattern.

5. How would you describe the organization of the E-TEXT? - At first the amount of material seemed daunting, but once I familiarized myself with its structure, the E-TEXT was easy to navigate.

6. How would you describe feedback provided by the instructor? - The instructor gave a lot of positive reinforcement.

7. What did you like best about the online EVOC 501 course? - I liked getting the instructor s perspective on teaching, which is different from that of other instructors I ve had.

8. Which of the assignment(s) did you find to be of most value? - The LP1 lesson plan with its link to "How Teachers Should Ask Questions" and EA1 evaluation with its valuable suggestions for critiquing student work.

9. Which of the assignment(s) did you find to be of least value? - FA6 Culture and Video.

10. What is your overall impression of the value of EVOC 501? - Some of the material I had already studied in UCI s TESL Certificate Program. But that was before I had taught in a classroom, and I found fresh insights in thi
