In 1985 I received the private pilot rating. I stopped flying around 1992 due to raising a family, graduate school, and the like. After 11 or more years without flying, I dusted off the ole flight gear and headed to Redlands Airport, M.Y. AIR for a biennial flight review. My middle daughter has shown an interest in aviation as well, so maybe times are changing...it is hoped the two of us will enjoy further flying experiences together. After a few hours of refresher training, I obtained currency as a private pilot again.
Below are a few pics of my daughter and I when I was taking refresher training. Images of my Cessna are coming soon. Anyway, this is what we saw while flying over San Bernardino County as this trip took us over Rialto, San Bernardino City, Highland, and Yucaipa. It sure feels great to be in the air again. Since then, I have been working with Gotta Fly Aviation.
